Carter rose to stardom for her role of the original female heroine "Wonder Woman" (1975 -1979). As a singer, she released a pop album titled Portrait in 1978. She also lent her voice to video games like 2015's Fallout 4. Over the years, Carter has been busy in shows and music. Recently, she landed a small role in the "Super Girl," and her latest appearance was in the film "Super Troopers 2" released this year.
2. Michael Douglas
Michael started his acting career in the early 1970s. He played Steve Keller on the 1975 TV show The Streets of San Francisco, and later starred in Coma and Running. This doe-eyed beauty was best known as a Playboy Bunny extraordinaire from the 1960s to the 1980s. She appeared in several movies and TV shows such as Playboy After Dark. She's also a successful musician, composing and writing many songs. Barbi retired from the entertainment business in the '80s to focus on raising her children with Hugh Hefner. She only made occasional appearances on reality shows.
6. Gene Wilder
Wilder had already made a name for himself before the '70s. In 1971, he dazzled the audience with his whimsical personality in Willy Wonka. Then he starred in Blazing Saddles, which is arguably the funniest movie of that decade. Having written several books, Wilder quit acting in the '90s. Nowadays, he spends his time mainly "painting watercolors, writing, and participating in charitable efforts."
7. Linda Ronstadt
Linda began her music career at a nightclub in West Hollywood. She quickly made a name for herself and was nicknamed the "Queen of Rock" and "First Lady of Rock." Linda achieved 30 gold and platinum records and won 10 Grammys. Sadly, in 2013, she was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, which caused her to retire from singing. But she remained strong and released her memoir, Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir, that same year.

Grodin originally showed off his acting talents as a dramatic actor, but by the '70s he became famous for his comic roles in comedies like Catch-22, The Heartbreak Kid, and Heaven Can Wait. He continues to act and in recent years has appeared in Law And Order: SVU, and While We're Young. He has also become a best-selling author with his most recent book entitled How I Got to Be Whoever It Is I Am.
9. Teri Garr
Teri Garr rose to fame for her role as Igna in 1974's Young Frankenstein. She went on to land roles in numerous movies such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Tootsie, and The Black Stallion. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2012. Then she has become a National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and National Chair for the Society's Women Against MS program.
10. John Travolta
In the early '70s, Travolta became known for his role on Welcome Back, Kotter. Then his acting career skyrocketed through the roof as Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever and Danny Zuko in Grease in the 1970s. After a decade of obscurity, Travolta re-flourished in the '90s with his role in Pulp Fiction. He also sings in the musical Hairspray and voices the animated Bolt. He's said to now be most proud of his whopping five aircraft.
11. Kim Basinger
Kim began her career as a successful model in the '70s. In 1976, Kim jumped into acting and made her on-screen debut in Gemini Man. She kept landing roles in movies and shows throughout the 70s. In the '80s, she even won a Best Supporting Actress Academy for her role of Lynn Bracken in L.A. Confidential.
12. Michael Caine
Caine established himself as an international star in the '70s by playing tough guy roles in movies like Get Carter, Kidnapped, and Pulp. He co-starred with Laurence Olivier in the cat-and-mouse thriller, Sleuth. These days, Caine continues to act and has landed roles on Cider House Rules, Children of Men, and the Dark Knight films. In 2000, Caine was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II.
13. Barbara Streisand
Barbara started her music career in the '60s and hit it big in the '70s with albums like Superman and Songbird. In 1968, she dabbled with acting, landing her breakthrough role in Funny Girl, which earned her an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. In 1983, she co-wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the movie Yentl which won her another Golden Globe Award.
14. Burt Reynolds
Reynolds was a heartthrob through the '70s with roles in influential movies like Deliverance, White Lightning, and Smokey & The Bandit. Some say that his famous mustache made him the ruler of Hollywood. Reynolds continues acting later in life. Now 79, he's achieved considerable success, winning awards for his role in Boogie Nights (1997) and making cameos in Archer and Burn Notice.

In the '60s, Paula made a name for herself as a comedic actress, starring in The Honeymoon Machine and Bachelor in Paradise. 16. Harrison Ford

In the '70s, Erik Estrada rocked a sexy police uniform for his role in CHiPs as Frank "Ponch" Poncharello who protects California's Highways. He made being a Highway Patrolmen seem cool to a generation.
